What Participants & Families Told The NDIS Auditors.......

“Highest praise for Prospect Hill. Couldn’t have picked a better provider.”

This is not just a compliment — it’s an endorsement of our model, our leadership, and our ability to deliver consistent, high-quality support to people with complex needs.

    “Gold standard in SIL living.”

We hold ourselves to the highest standards. Our systems, staffing, supervision and communication are designed to meet — and often exceed — expectations in a sector where quality is non-negotiable.

“Everything seems well run and good at the property when we drop in for visits unannounced.”

We don’t prepare for visits — we maintain standards at all times. Families and guardians are reassured by what they see, whenever they walk through the door.

“Appreciate everything they do… good supports, accommodated to shifting needs.” “No issue with messages being passed on… ability to shift and adapt to changing needs.”

Adaptability is built into our operations. Prospect Hill is structured to respond quickly and intelligently to changes in support needs, without delays or miscommunication.

“Very happy with the service, love my area in the lounge room.”

Participant wellbeing speaks for itself. Our homes are safe, welcoming, and staffed by skilled professionals who care deeply about their work.

“Someone 24/7 to talk with. I can talk to company leadership.”

Direct access to our leadership team is a hallmark of our service. We don’t hide behind email chains or bureaucracy. When something needs attention, it’s addressed — immediately and professionally.

    Who We Are

    Our Story

Prospect Hill started in 2010 as a small respite service on the farm of Drs Richard Brown and Erin O’Neill.

    • Richard and Erin lived the support experience in their own home for 7 years providing respite services until they commenced Supported Independent Living (SIL) services in 2017.

    • Since then, Prospect Hill has grown to be not only a first-rate provider of Supported Independent Living (SIL), but also of Community Participation, and Respite services in New South Wales and Queensland. Prospect Hill employs over 150 staff supporting participants in dozens of high-quality homes.

    • Erin’s and Richard’s deeply-held belief in a fair go for all and the provision of the best in services and facilities is Prospect Hill’s guiding principle, ensuring Participants are in the Best Place - physically, psychologically and socially.

So, what is the “real-world” result of this fabulous support?

    F.A.Q.

    Prospect Hill

SIL is 24/7 or drop-in help with everyday tasks—such as cooking, personal care, medication and budgeting—provided in your own home or a shared house. It’s designed to build your skills so you can live as independently as possible using NDIS funding.

You’ll need “Assistance with Daily Living” funding in your NDIS plan and an assessment showing you need regular support at home. We can help gather the required evidence and talk to the NDIA if your plan needs a review.

SDA (Specialist Disability Accommodation) funds the bricks-and-mortar—the physical home. SIL funds the supports (people) inside that home. Some participants have both, some only SIL, and some receive drop-in supports in a private rental.

Absolutely. We run a “house-matching” process where you meet potential housemates first to see if lifestyles, routines and personalities align. Your preferences are always respected.

Anything that aligns with your goals: social clubs, gym programs, art classes, volunteer work, study support, bush-walks, sports events, cultural festivals and more. We schedule both one-to-one and small-group outings every week.

Most CP supports are claimed from Capacity Building > “Social & Community Participation,” but some one-to-one outings can be claimed from Core > “Assistance with Social & Community Participation.” We’ll map the most efficient funding line for each activity.

Prospect Hill follows the NDIS Practice Standards. All staff hold current police checks, NDIS Worker Screening, First Aid & Medication training. We track incident reporting, restrictive-practice approvals and staff competency in real time.

Yes—family and advocates can opt in to our secure online portal for daily notes, photos, medication logs and goal-progress reports. We also schedule quarterly review meetings.

Talk to us anytime. We’ll attempt to resolve the issue within 24-48 hours. If you’re still not satisfied, we can assist you to contact the NDIS Quality & Safeguards Commission.

Call (02) 4988 7878 or email hello@prospect-hill.com.au. We’ll book a free intake meeting, outline your goals, and create a personalised service agreement—no obligation.

Prospect Hill acknowledges the Traditional Owners of Country throughout Australia. We pay our respect to Elders past, present and future. We honor the Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ cultural and spiritual connection to the land, sea and community.
